April Franzoni wins in Saint-Brieuc, the battle for the title continues

April Franzoni takes the victory in Saint Brieuc, the seventh round of the French MXF Motocross Championship. The battle for the title is fierce, and the outcome will be decided at the final round in three weeks.

Race 1

Amandine Verstappen grabbed the holeshot. Comfortable on the track, the Team New Bike Yamaha rider extended her lead early in the race to ultimately take the win. April Franzoni gave it her all, but the Honda SR rider couldn’t find a way past. Lisa Guerber was the only rider to stay on the same lap as the leading duo, securing a strong third place. Lysa Raoux and Lena Marques (Team JS Racing) completed the top five after a close battle.

Louna Masset (Team CRT) had a great race to take the victory in the 125cc class. Lea Lesoil (Team Newbike) finished second. Celia Duborper completed the podium.

Race 2

Amandine Verstappen once again takes the holeshot. With a 5-second lead, the Belgian crashes. Rejoining too late, she has to settle for second place behind April Franzoni. Lisa Guerber secures another podium finish. Lena Marques finishes fourth after a good start, while Britt Van Muylem (Team JPR) completes the top five.

Celia Duborper, the 125 championship leader, takes the victory ahead of Louna Masset and Lea Lesoil.

Overall

April Franzoni takes the win in Saint Brieuc. Amandine Verstappen finishes second, tied on points. Both riders have the same number of championship points, meaning the title will be decided at the final round in Jean Gelis. Lisa Guerber completes the day’s podium. She extends her lead in the race for third place in the championship before the MXF final.

In the 125cc class, Louna Masset secured the victory. Celia Duborper finished second and consolidated her first place in the championship before the final round. Lea Lesoil completed the day’s podium and maintained her second place in the championship.
