Round seven of the 2026 GNCC Racing season delivered intense action at Powerline Park in Ohio, where riders benefited from dry weather and near-perfect track conditions throughout the weekend.
In the WXC class, Korie Steede got off to the ideal start aboard her Rockstar Energy Husqvarna machine, claiming the holeshot and immediately taking control of the race. The American rider managed to stay out front during the opening stages, but pressure quickly mounted from Brandy Richards.
After shadowing Steede during the first laps, the FMF KTM Factory Racing rider eventually found her opportunity midway through the race. Richards moved into the lead on lap three and never looked back, maintaining a strong pace all the way to the finish to secure her fourth victory of the season.
Despite losing the lead, Steede remained consistent and crossed the line in second place after another solid performance in the championship.
Behind the leading duo, Danielle McDonald battled through the demanding Ohio terrain to complete the WXC podium. The AmPro Yamaha rider encountered a small mechanical issue during the race and was forced to stop briefly for repairs, costing valuable time. Nevertheless, she recovered to finish third and continues to lead the championship standings after seven rounds.
In the Girls Super Mini class, Vaida Lavergne returned to winning ways and extended her lead in the championship. Lacey Ball secured second place ahead of Baylee Arsenault.
In the Women category, Megan Janyssek continued her winning streak. Zoey Kimble finished second ahead of Mattie Sims.
