Jordan Jarvis from the USA dominated Round 6 of the Canadian WMX championship. Jarvis won both motos on the rough, demanding track, leaving no doubt about who the best sand rider in the championship is. With this perfect weekend, “JJ” further extends his lead in the championship standings with just two rounds remaining.
Behind her, Kaylie Kayer (2-2) delivered another excellent performance to secure second overall. Looking comfortable throughout the weekend, the Yamaha rider confirmed that she is one of the main title contenders this season. Brandy McLarty (3-3) returned to the podium after a difficult previous round. The Husqvarna rider held off Jamie Astudillo in the second moto to secure third overall.
Kiana Kurtz (4-5) recorded her best result of the season. The Husqvarna rider’s consistency has allowed her to remain well placed in the championship standings. It was another weekend to forget for defending champion Jamie Astudillo (6-4), who finished fifth overall. Struggling in the sand, she continues to lose ground in the title race.
Sarah-Kim Villeneuve (5-6) maintained her strong form with another consistent sixth-place finish. Once again, the Canadian delivered two solid motos to strengthen her championship campaign.
Tea Ferguson (8-7) continued her steady progress by finishing seventh overall after another pair of consistent races. She finished ahead of Hannah Cole (9-8), Thaly Girard (7-11), and Amelie Giraud (11-9), who completed the top ten.
