The third round of the EMX Women’s Championship takes place in Poland this weekend, marking an important stage of the championship as riders will complete half of the 2026 calendar by Sunday evening.
Championship leader Danée Gelissen heads into the weekend as the favourite for victory. A strong result in Poland could allow the Dutch rider to extend her advantage at the top of the standings.
Her main challenger is expected to be Laura Raunkjaer. The Danish rider has shown impressive pace since the opening round and remains determined to stay firmly in the title fight.
Jana Bohle continues to build momentum with every race and should once again be in contention for a podium finish. Melissa Mäntylä, Aneta Cepeláková and Joela Freudenthaler are also among the riders to watch this weekend.
Another notable story is the return of Adrija Skudutyte. The Lithuanian rider has already secured several podium finishes in the championship and could quickly return to the fight at the front.
In the 125cc category, Patricija Berzina arrives in Poland as the championship leader. However, the Latvian will face strong opposition from Theodora Gumeniuc, who endured a difficult previous round and will be eager to bounce back and reclaim the top spot in the standings.
Currently sitting third in the championship, Toke Tops has enjoyed an impressive start to the season and is expected to challenge for another podium result.
Attention will also be on Tiril Ottesen, Elinor Shahar and Julieta Croci Grassi throughout the weekend. Meanwhile, Kyshara Das returns after a particularly difficult home round. While her title hopes may now be under pressure, a victory in Poland could provide a major confidence boost for the remainder of the season.
The entry list could still evolve with additional riders expected to join before the weekend.
