Line Dam returns to the WMX World Championship

24 October 2021. That was the last time Line Dam lined up in the WMX World Championship. In Pietramurata, the Danish rider finished 12th overall before stepping away from the world championship scene.

Now, several years later, Line Dam is set to make her return to WMX competition.
Since her last appearance at world level, the Danish rider has continued to build an impressive résumé, claiming multiple national titles while regularly battling against riders such as Sara Andersen and Malou Jakobsen.

Dam made the decision to return while travelling home from a training camp in Spain. She is now preparing to compete at the MXGP of Germany in Teutschenthal in two weeks’ time before lining up again at the MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem this August.

As Giorgia Montini currently races with number 131, Line Dam will compete using the number 13 plate.

It will certainly be exciting to see the Danish rider back on the WMX starting gate.
