Kiara Fontanesi and Ana Kolnookov continue their unbeaten run

The fourth round of the Italian Motocross Championship took place this weekend in Albettone, where Kiara Fontanesi once again showcased her dominance in the Women’s class.

Absent from qualifying, Fontanesi (1-1) was forced to start from the back of the gate. Despite the setback, the six-time WMX World Champion delivered a flawless performance, leading every lap of both races on her way to another overall victory. With another perfect score, she moves one step closer to securing yet another national title.

Giorgia Montini (2-2) continued her impressive run of form. After setting the fastest lap in qualifying, the Honda rider backed it up with two strong and consistent races to secure second overall. Montini rode with confidence throughout the day and kept mistakes to a minimum.

Nellie Fransson (3-4) claimed another podium finish for JK Racing Yamaha. The Swedish rider grabbed the holeshot in the opening race but lost valuable time in race two while battling Emanuela Talucci, ultimately falling short of second place overall.

Cecilia Polato (6-3) finished fourth overall. The young Italian rider bounced back from a difficult start to the season with an excellent second moto, confirming the progress she has shown in recent rounds.

Emanuela Talucci (4-5) completed the top five. Another rider enjoying steady improvement, Talucci put in a solid performance and engaged in a hard-fought battle with Fransson during the second race. If her progress continues, a podium finish could soon be within reach.

Priska Busatto (5-7) secured sixth overall for Pardi Racing, finishing ahead of Giorgia Giudici (7-6), Chantal Pavoni (8-8), and Sofia Beltramo (9-9). Eleonora Ambrosini (11-10) rounded out the top ten.

In the 125cc category, Ana Kolnookov extended her unbeaten streak with another overall victory. Sofia Chermoz finished second, while Noemi Zanni completed the podium.
