Jordan Jarvis sweeps Courtland to extend championship lead

The fourth round of the Canadian Motocross Championship (Triple Crown Series) took place this Sunday in Courtland. On the sandy circuit, Jordan Jarvis (1-1) completed another perfect weekend by sweeping both motos. The Dusty Rocks MX rider dominated the opening race before overcoming a difficult start in moto two, charging through the field and making the winning pass in the closing laps. The double victory extends her championship lead as the series reaches its halfway point.

Brandy McLarty (2-2) enjoyed her best result of the season. The AVL MX rider put together a strong performance and led several laps of the second moto before ultimately finishing second. Jamie Astudillo (6-3) endured a challenging weekend on the sandy track but limited the damage with a podium finish. The Priority MX rider remains second in the championship standings.

Tinley McCoy (5-4) finished fourth overall, just one point shy of the podium. The young American impressed throughout the day, finishing ahead of Kaylie Kayer (4-5) and Kiana Kurtz (3-7), who ended the round tied on points. Throughout both motos, the trio battled closely with Jamie Astudillo and Brandy McLarty, producing some of the most exciting racing of the weekend. With the championship entering its second half, the battles up front are only expected to intensify.

Hannah Cole (7-6) claimed seventh overall after showing strong pace in the second moto, where an excellent start allowed her to challenge the riders ahead. Kyleigh Hayes (9-8) impressed with a pair of top-10 finishes, while Amelie Croteau (8-9) secured ninth overall. Tea Ferguson (10-10) rounded out the top 10 for the weekend.
