Jordan Jarvis wins Round 3 in Ste-Julie

Round 3 of the Triple Crown Series (Canada) took place in Ste-Julie, where the WMX championship battle continued to heat up. After splitting victories in the opening two rounds, Jordan Jarvis and Jamie Astudillo were eager to renew their rivalry.

For the first time this season, Jarvis didn’t have to make a late-night trip to Canada after racing the WMX Championship in the United States the day before. The Dusty Rocks MX Yamaha rider looked fresh and composed, and the Quebec fans got to see her at her best.

In both motos, Jarvis and Astudillo stayed within a few seconds of each other while battling for the lead. In the end, Jarvis came out on top, while Astudillo had to settle for second overall. Kaylie Kayer (3-3) continued her strong run of form with another podium finish, further establishing herself as a legitimate title contender.

Brandy McLarty (5-4) put together two solid rides to finish fourth overall. After earning her first podium of the season at the previous round, she once again finished ahead of Kiana Kurtz (6-5) in both motos to strengthen her position in the championship.

Making her return to racing, Eve Brodeur (4-8) impressed with a strong ride in the opening moto but understandably faded in the demanding conditions of the second after spending time away from competition. Despite that, she secured a respectable sixth-place overall finish and is expected to return for Round 7 of the championship in a few weeks.

Sarah-Kim Villeneuve (8-6) made her season debut and claimed seventh overall after showing impressive speed throughout the day. She finished ahead of Hannah Cole (7-7), who continues to search for the results her pace suggests she is capable of achieving. Amelie Croteau (9-9) finished ninth overall, while Victoria Dillon (10-11) rounded out the top ten.
