Great Britain has announced its team for the upcoming ISDE in Portugal this October.
Nieve Holmes has been selected alongside Rosie Rowett, with the pair currently sitting second and third respectively in the Women’s Enduro World Championship. Members of Great Britain’s victorious team in 2022, they will be aiming to return to the top step of the podium this year.
They will be joined by Lucy Barker in what comes as a surprise selection. The three-time European Women’s Motocross Champion will make her ISDE debut this October. Although best known for her motocross achievements, Barker is an exceptionally fast rider and has several months to prepare for the event.
It is also worth noting that this is far from the first time a motocross rider has been selected for an ISDE team.
