The championship heads to Saint-Brieuc for the penultimate round of the French MXF Motocross Championship.
The title fight remains perfectly balanced between Amandine Verstappen (Team New Bike Yamaha) and April Franzoni (Team Honda SR). Tied on points heading into this round, neither rider has been able to break the deadlock. The Belgian is aiming to become the most decorated rider in the championship, while the Frenchwoman could clinch her first title. All eyes will be on who takes the upper hand ahead of the final round.
Behind them, the battle for third place remains wide open. Lisa Guerber (Honda) reclaimed third in the championship standings at the previous round, while Lysa Raoux (Stark) remains her closest rival, with only four points separating the two riders.
Lena Marques (Team JS Racing) and Justine Blanchard (KTM) are also targeting a podium finish and could close the gap on third place with strong results this weekend.
Britt Van Muylem (Team JPR) will once again be one to watch for a top-five finish, with the Belgian rider continuing to improve with each round.
In the 125cc class, Celia Duborper (GasGas) arrives as championship leader. Lea Lesoil (Team Newbike) is just 12 points behind and continues to gain momentum, closing the gap race after race.
The title fight could well shift this weekend. Louna Masset (Team CRT), the reigning champion is determined to end the season on a high. Although her title hopes have vanished.
