Rachel Gutish (RIEJU Factory Team) continued her winning streak in the Expotrade Women’s Enduro class, securing a second consecutive victory at Fafe. After topping the standings on day one, the American once again proved untouchable, taking the win by 47 seconds.
Gutish got her day off to the perfect start by setting the fastest times in both the opening Gmoto Enduro Test and Polisport Extreme Test, immediately establishing a 19-second advantage. From there, she steadily extended her lead throughout Sunday. Although Canada’s Shelby Turner (Triumph) claimed the fastest times in both Expotrade Cross Tests, Gutish’s dominance in the Enduro Tests ultimately sealed another commanding victory.
With another maximum points haul, Gutish moves one step closer to securing another Women’s Enduro world title. The next round could prove decisive in the championship battle.
Making her FIM EnduroGP debut, Turner was the only rider able to challenge Gutish throughout the weekend. The Canadian delivered an impressive performance to secure the runner-up position for the second consecutive day.
The fight for the final podium spot saw Marine Lemoine (KTM) and Nieve Holmes (Sherco) locked in a close battle. In the end, Lemoine emerged victorious, claiming third place by 14 seconds over the British rider. Rosie Rowett (RIEJU Factory Team) completed the top five.
Lorna Lafont extends championship lead in Junior Women’s Enduro
In the Expotrade Junior Women’s Enduro class, Lorna Lafont (Husqvarna) secured victory on day two, capping off a perfect weekend. Her strong performance allows the French rider to further extend her lead at the top of the championship standings.
Elizabeth Tett (TM Moto) returned to the podium with an impressive second-place finish, while Charlène Boudon (Fantic) completed the top three. Sara Traini (Triumph) endured a difficult weekend and had to settle for fourth place.
