MXGP of France – WMX Manufacturers Classification

The opening round of the 2026 WMX World Championship in Lacapelle-Marival has concluded, establishing an early hierarchy both in the riders’ standings and among the manufacturers.

The manufacturers’ championship is often overlooked and rarely put in the spotlight, but last season it was GasGas that secured the title thanks to the performances of Kiara Fontanesi and Daniela Guillen throughout the year.

The Spanish manufacturer has started the new campaign in the best possible way, collecting 50 points thanks to victories from Fontanesi and Guillen. Honda sits second in the standings with 36 points earned by April Franzoni.

Yamaha follows closely with 35 points. Amandine Verstappen contributed 15 points in Race 1, while the remainder came from Lotte van Drunen’s third-place finish in Race 2. KTM is right behind thanks to the performances of Malou Jakobsen and Lucy Barker.

Kawasaki scored 27 points, relying solely on Courtney Duncan’s performance this weekend, and leads TM by just one point. The Italian manufacturer is represented this season by Lynn Valk.

Husqvarna collected 22 points thanks to Danée Gelissen, while Triumph completes the standings with six points scored by Amber Simons.

With another round already scheduled for next weekend, the standings could quickly change. However, GasGas already appears to hold a significant advantage with two riders capable of fighting for the title.
