Martine Hughes, the 2025 Swedish MXSM champion, will miss the opening round of the championship, which kicks off tomorrow. Not listed on the entry list, her team, Norway WMX by Absolut MX, has now confirmed her absence. Still recovering from a back injury sustained earlier this winter, Hughes is not yet fit to compete. While this is disappointing news, there is little doubt that she will return to competition later in the season.
