Laura Raunkjaer joins Team MX Academy Honda powered by Meuwissen Motorsports

Recently established, the MX Academy Honda powered by Meuwissen Motorsports team has been building its structure ahead of the upcoming season. As part of its development, the team was actively searching for a female rider to contest the WMX Women’s Motocross World Championship.

What had been expected from the outset is now official: Laura Raunkjaer has secured the ride.

The Danish rider joins the team after competing with the SYE Racing Team 423, managed by Larissa Papenmeier. Raunkjaer finished the most recent WMX World Championship in 22nd overall, regularly fighting just outside the Top 15 in a highly competitive field.

This new partnership marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for Laura Raunkjaer. With the support of MX Academy Honda and Meuwissen Motorsports, she will look to take the next step forward and strengthen her presence on the WMX world stage.
