Round two of the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship takes place in Oliana, Spain (1–3 May), introducing a new and demanding venue to the 2026 calendar. The course will combine fast sections, technical challenges and varied terrain, setting the stage for a more revealing hierarchy after the opening round in Sicily.
In the main Women’s Enduro class, France’s Justine Martel (Beta) leads the standings after securing two wins in Italy. Defending champion Rachel Gutish (RIEJU) showed strong pace but lost ground due to penalties, leaving her with work to do in Spain. Italy’s Sara Traini (Triumph), third overall, confirmed her potential with a podium on day one and a solid follow-up ride.
Just behind, Mauricette Brisebard (Beta) sits fourth, only one point ahead of Lorna Lafont (Husqvarna) in fifth. Marine Lemoine (KTM) and Nieve Holmes (Sherco) are tied in sixth and seventh; Lemoine notably bounced back from a difficult first day in Sicily to finish second on day two, while Holmes remained consistent across both days.
Vilde Marie Holt (Kawasaki) is getting used to her new bike. The Norwegian arrives with higher ambitions. Maria San Miguel (Rieju) wants to shine on home soil. Rosie Rowett (Rieju), the runner-up in the world championship, wants to build momentum after a first round far from her best. Joana Goncalves (Husqvarna) wants to climb the rankings.
In the Junior Women’s Enduro category, Sara Traini holds the early lead after winning both days in Sicily. Lorna Lafont, the reigning champion, finished second twice and remains within reach, showing competitive pace throughout the weekend. Charlene Boudon (Fantic) is third overall after two consistent rides, followed by Elizabeth Tett (TM MOTO) in fourth and Maja Kozlowska (KTM) in fifth.
With all riders now heading to unfamiliar terrain in Oliana, the second round could quickly reshuffle positions, especially in the tightly contested midfield of both classes.
