Kiara Fontanesi boosts her confidence in Aichwald

With the next round of the WMX World Championship just around the corner, Kiara Fontanesi used the sixth round of the German DMX Championship in Aichwald as part of her preparation—and left with a perfect scorecard.

Making her first appearance in the series this season, the six-time world champion claimed victory in both motos after two intense battles with championship leader Larissa Papenmeier. The Italian leaves Germany with a valuable confidence boost as she continues her build-up to the next WMX round.

Elena Kapsamer (3-4) secured her first podium finish of the season. The Becker Racing rider delivered two consistent rides and was rewarded with third overall after a solid weekend.

Amber Simons (7-6) couldn’t quite match her recent form but still managed to finish fourth overall. The Dutch rider remains second in the championship standings and continues to hold a strong position heading into the final rounds.

A consistent performance from Kim Irmgartz (6-8) earned her fifth overall. The experienced Honda rider once again relied on consistency to secure a valuable result. Jana Bohle (8-7) finished sixth overall after two steady races. Her consistency allowed her to edge out Jenitty Van der Beek (4-15), who showed impressive speed in the opening moto before a mistake in Race 2 dropped her down the order.

Emely Köhler (9-10) claimed eighth overall, while Alexandra Massury (40-3) endured a rollercoaster weekend. After misfortune in the opening moto, the German bounced back with an excellent third-place finish in Race 2. Lexi Pachmann (15-9) rounded out the top ten overall, completing a strong weekend for the KTM Sarholz Racing Team rider.

With two convincing race wins against one of the strongest fields in the championship, Fontanesi heads into the next WMX round carrying plenty of momentum and confidence.
