The 2026 edition of the 24MX French Enduro Championship officially got underway this weekend in Boussac, located in the Creuse region of France. Returning to the national calendar after a two-year absence, the Boussac Moto Club successfully organized a refreshed event that once again lived up to its strong reputation among riders and fans alike.
Despite light rain during the opening laps, racing conditions remained favorable throughout the weekend, allowing competitors to push hard from the very first special tests.
Day 1 : Martel edges out Boudon in a thriller
Justine Martel, riding for Ambiance Moto Beta, claimed victory after an intense duel with Charlène Boudon of Yamaha DEP Atomic.
Boudon kept the pressure on until the very end and finished the day strongly by winning the final three special stages. However, Martel managed to hold on to the overall lead, crossing the line with only 1.23 seconds separating the two riders after a full day of racing.
Mauricette Brisebard (Atomic Moto) completed the podium thanks to a steady and consistent performance. While she remained slightly behind the leading pair, she maintained solid pace throughout the day to secure third position.
Further behind, Satine Jean impressed in her debut appearance in the French Championship by finishing fourth overall. Camille Cussac (Beta) rounded out the top five with a confident start to her 2026 campaign.
Day 2 : Martel completes the perfect weekend
Sunday saw Justine Martel continue her winning momentum and leave Boussac with maximum points after securing a second consecutive victory.
Unlike Saturday’s nail-biting finish, Martel was able to create a larger gap over Charlène Boudon on Day 2. Still, the Yamaha DEP Atomic rider confirmed she will be a serious title contender this season, backing up her strong opening performance with another second-place finish.
Mauricette Brisebard once again secured third place, but looked more competitive early in the day compared to Saturday. Although she could not close the gap to the front two, her consistency keeps her firmly in the championship fight heading into the next rounds.
This opening weekend already highlighted an exciting storyline for the season ahead, with experienced riders like Martel and Brisebard facing strong competition from the rising generation represented by Boudon.
Morgane Perez (Husqvarna) bounced back after a difficult first day to finish fourth on Sunday, while Justine Vareille (Husqvarna) completed the top five following her sixth-place finish the previous day.
