Italy Femminile Maggiora – Preview & Entry List

All eyes will be on Maggiora this weekend as the second round of the Italian Women’s Motocross Championship gets underway. After a dominant performance in the opening round, Kiara Fontanesi returns as the rider to beat, aiming to extend her winning streak and remain unbeaten in the series.

The field, however, will be missing Lucy Barker, who finished runner-up in the opener. In her absence, Giorgia Montini has emerged as Fontanesi’s closest challenger. After securing a podium in the first round, she will be looking to build momentum and apply pressure at the front.

Desire Agosti was one of the surprise packages of the opening round and now heads into Maggiora with a genuine shot at podium finish. The competition remains strong, with Sweden’s Nellie Fransson and Gaia Franchi both expected to step up as the championship progresses.

Emanuella Talucci also showed promising form in the first round, signaling a return to her best level. She is currently locked in a tight battle with Fransson in the U19 standings. Meanwhile, riders such as Priska Busatto, Giorgia Giudici, Sofia Beltramo and Eleonora Ambrosi will all be aiming to break into the spotlight.

In the 125cc class, Ana Kolnookov made an immediate impact by winning the opening heat. Alessia Di Luccia is set to challenge her once again, and their rivalry could become one of the key storylines of the season.

With strong contenders across both classes, Maggiora promises intense racing and another crucial chapter in the championship battle.
