Yumena Berning selected to represent Team USA

The United States will once again be represented by a young female talent at the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, as Yumena Berning has been officially selected to compete in the 65cc category.

The event will take place on July 4–5 in Jinín, Czech Republic, bringing together the world’s best young motocross riders for one of the most prestigious amateur competitions on the calendar.

Berning’s selection marks another important step for women in American motocross. She becomes only the second female rider to earn a place on Team USA for the Junior World Championship, following in the footsteps of Raycin Kyler, who made history last year as the first to achieve the feat.

Backed by Cobra Moto, the young American will arrive in Europe aiming to gain valuable international experience while measuring herself against the strongest 65cc riders in the world.

While expectations will naturally be focused on development rather than results, Berning’s selection already highlights her status as one of the most promising talents in the American youth motocross scene.

All eyes will now turn to Jinín this summer to see how the US representative performs on the world stage.
