Spanish WMX rider Jana Sanchez has officially announced the end of her collaboration with the RFME Mequitec Racing National Team. Sanchez had joined the structure at the start of the season alongside teammate Daniela Guillén, with the shared goal of competing in the Women’s Motocross World Championship (WMX) and was getting closer to the Top 10.
Riding a GasGas, Sanchez showed strong potential but struggled with consistency throughout the season, ultimately finishing 21st overall in the WMX World Championship.
Despite these challenges, she achieved a major milestone on home soil: in 2025 she claimed the Spanish Women’s Motocross Championship title for the first time, marking the most important victory of her career so far.
For the upcoming year, Jana Sanchez is set to begin a new chapter. We hope she will be present at several rounds of the 2026 WMX World Championship.
