At just 16 years old, Mayla Herrick is already one of the most promising young female motocross riders in the United States. Known for her smooth style, consistency, and determination, the American rider continues her rise through the ranks as she prepares to take on a new challenge for the 2026 season.
Herrick will make the move to the Honda CRF250R, with full backing from Sun Powersports, marking an important step in his career. After several strong performances on smaller displacement bikes, she’s ready to test herself against the best in the 250 class — a natural progression for one of America’s brightest prospects.
Her first official outing on the new bike will take place later this month at the Mini O’s (Thor Winter Olympics) in Florida, one of the most prestigious amateur motocross events in the country. Riding with her new number, #23, Mayla is aiming for strong results as she begins this next chapter.
We should see Mayla at the WMX US Championship in 2026, where she will undoubtedly liven things up.
