Jana Sánchez crowned queen of Spain

The grand finale of the Spanish Women’s Motocross Championship took place this weekend in Morón de la Frontera, bringing an end to an exciting 2025 season filled with intense battles and standout performances.

There was no stopping Jana Sánchez, who claimed the 2025 Spanish Motocross Championship title after a flawless season. The Yamaha rider dominated every single round, finishing the year with a perfect score of 200 points — a clear display of her consistency, speed, and control on the track.

With Daniela Guillén absent this season, Sánchez entered as the clear favorite, and she certainly delivered. Week after week, she set the pace at the front, confirming her status as Spain’s top female motocross racer.

The fiercest competition came from Natalia Rosado and Carmen Gómez, who fought all season for the runner-up position in the championship. Gómez arrived at the final round determined to close the gap and managed to beat Rosado in both motos. However, Rosado’s consistency throughout the year paid off — with another double podium in Morón, she locked in second place overall in the standings, leaving Gómez to round out the Top 3.

Behind the podium, Zoe Querol impressed with a strong ride to fourth place, showing great pace and battling closely with Rosado in the second moto. Pau Deyà rounded out the Top 5 after another solid weekend.

Further down the order, Sofía Gómez showed improvement to move up the ranks, while Cristina de Juan Flores secured seventh position ahead of Alba Sánchez, Aroa Castromán, and Laia Cobo, completing the Top 10 in this season finale.
