The 2026 FIM Sand Races World Championship Calendar revealed

With the 2025 FIM Sand Races World Championship having just concluded with Mathilde Denis securing the title, the 2026 calendar has now been unveiled.

The Morocco Sand Race will make its debut in the championship, with the season kicking off in September. Italy will once again host the Bibione Sand Storm, which is becoming a staple of the calendar, along with France’s Ronde des Sables. The Monte Gordo Sand Race in Portugal is also included at the end of November. The grand finale will once again take place at the Enduropale du Touquet.

Two-time champion Mathilde Denis will be one of the riders to watch. Kiara Fontanesi is also expected to return for the Bibione Sand Storm. As for the rest of the field, we will have to wait a little longer to see who will challenge Denis.

Meanwhile, 2024 champion Amandine Verstappen has decided to focus exclusively on motocross.
