Rachel Gutish adds another championship title

The AMA EnduroCross USA Championship delivered an intense night of racing in Everett, Washington, where the Women’s title was decided in a single, high-stakes round. Ten of the best riders in the discipline lined up, with most expecting a fierce showdown between American star Rachel Gutish and Canadian contender Shelby Turner.

Riding with confidence and consistency, Rachel Gutish earned the Women’s title thanks to a strong 2-1 race score, securing yet another major victory in what has already been a standout season. In the opening race, the Rieju rider launched off the line with momentum but a costly mistake pushed her back to second place. Refusing to let the moment slip away, Gutish regrouped for Race 2. After settling into second in the early laps, she capitalized when the race leader made an error, taking control of the moto and holding the lead to the finish. With that win, the reigning Enduro World Champion wrapped up another impressive championship.

Shelby Turner also delivered a powerful performance throughout the evening. She dominated the first moto, claiming victory and collecting maximum points. In Race 2, Turner once again grabbed the early lead and appeared to be on her way to another win. However, several mistakes cost her valuable time, and despite a determined push to the checkered flag, she had to settle for third in the second moto. Her combined results placed her second overall for the round.

Completing the podium was Chantelle Bykerk, who produced one of the most exciting comeback rides of the night. Although she struggled off the start in both races, the KTM rider showed exceptional determination as she worked her way through the pack. Her strong late-race pace, including a memorable battle with Turner, helped secure third overall in the championship round.

Behind the podium trio, several riders delivered impressive performances across both motos. Kylee Sweeten fought hard for a potential podium finish and ended the night in fourth after a solid opening race. Nikki Russell maintained steady form to secure fifth overall, while Bailey Lerwill, Emily Hall, and Lexi Galbraith all put in determined rides to secure mid-pack positions. Katie Emmich and Megan Kennon closed out the field after challenging races marked by a DNS each, but both showcased resilience in a demanding event.
