Francesca Nocera returns to victory at Portuguese EnduroGP

On Sunday, the second day of the Portuguese EnduroGP, riders faced heat and dust as Francesca Nocera (Honda) made a strong comeback. After being forced to retire on the first day due to mechanical issues and losing some chances in the title race, Nocera dominated with a clear victory. She set the fastest times in three of the six stages and finished more than a minute ahead of Rachel Gutish.

Rachel Gutish (Rieju), who had won the previous day, scored valuable points again and solidified her position as the title favorite for the 2025 championship. Norwegian rider Vilde Marie Holt (KTM) had an impressive performance, completing the podium just six seconds behind Gutish and displaying top-level form throughout the weekend.

British rider Rosie Rowett, also from the Rieju team, finished fourth but struggled to find the right pace this weekend, losing crucial points in the overall championship battle. Marine Lemoine had a strong second day, finishing fifth as she gradually found her rhythm. On home ground, Joana Goncalves took sixth place.

Elizabeth Tett claimed seventh place overall and secured another win in the Junior class, maintaining her championship lead and aiming for her first title. Justine Martel faced bike troubles and bad luck, finishing eighth after a difficult day, just ahead of her compatriot Lorna Lafont. Lafont, finishing second in the Junior category, fought hard but missed the top spot by about ten seconds; she will need to win the next two rounds to contend for the title.

After a promising podium on Saturday, Nieve Holmes had a challenging tenth place finish today, just ahead of Maria San Miguel (Rieju). TM MOTO’s Delun Davies completed the Junior podium.
