The penultimate round of the WMX World Championship takes place in Arnhem. The manufacturers’ standings are shifting ahead of the final race, which could reshuffle the cards for the top spots.
Thanks to Daniela Guillen’s two second-place finishes, GasGas is in a strong position to retain its title. Especially since the Spaniard is battling with another GasGas rider, Kiara Fontanesi, for the WMX World Championship title.
With a double victory on home soil, Lotte van Drunen allows Yamaha to consolidate second place. The brand will also be counting on Lachlan Turner in Australia, who will be participating in his first round.
KTM reclaims third place in the championship with a strong performance from Lucy Barker. The Austrian manufacturer has a three-point lead over Kawasaki, which scored points thanks to Courtney Duncan.
Honda scores 14 points thanks to Laura Raunkjaer and maintains fifth position. Husqvarna is closing the gap with Danée Gelissen’s strong performance on home soil. TM Moto remains seventh despite its sole rider, Lynn Valk, being injured. Fiona Hoppe contributes 6 points to Triumph, which completes the standings.
