The Woodville GP event has been cancelled

The Woodville MXGP event, scheduled to take place this weekend over two days, has been cancelled. Organizers of one of New Zealand’s biggest motocross events were forced to call it off due to severe weather conditions. After initial practice sessions, officials deemed the track too dangerous for riders and decided to stop the event.

This year, Woodville was set to host the opening round of the NZMX Women’s Championship. With the cancellation, the women’s series will now feature only two rounds to decide the 2026 national title.
