Taylah McCutcheon and Empire Kawasaki part ways

After three seasons together, Taylah McCutcheon and Empire Kawasaki have officially parted ways, marking the end of a significant chapter in the Australian rider’s professional motocross career.

During her time with the Empire Kawasaki squad, McCutcheon experienced both success and setbacks, proving her determination on and off the track. Her 2025 season started with promise but was cut short when she was forced to withdraw from the New Zealand Motocross Championship due to injury.

Despite the setback, she came back strong in the 2026 Australian Motocross Championship, where she showcased her talent and consistency to finish runner-up in the national standings — a major achievement that confirmed her status among Australia’s leading female riders.

Beyond the domestic scene, McCutcheon also made her mark on the international stage. She delivered strong performances at the FIM Oceania Women’s Cup, and at the MXGP of Australia, she was running inside the top five before a foot injury forced her to retire from the race.
Unfortunately, the injury required multiple surgeries, and she continues her recovery before making a full return to racing.

The separation brings an end to a fruitful and respected partnership between Taylah McCutcheon and Empire Kawasaki, but both parties leave on good terms. As McCutcheon focuses on her rehabilitation, anticipation builds around what’s next for the Australian rider.
