Seventh Title for Verstappen, First Crown for Masset

The final round of the 2024 French Women’s Motocross Championship (MXF) took place this weekend in Landehen, Brittany.

 

Amandine Verstappen equals record with Seventh National Title

Amandine Verstappen (1-1) secured her seventh French MXF Championship title, equalling the record previously held by Livia Lancelot. The Belgian rider continues to write her name in the history books of women’s motocross.

Coming into the final round with a comfortable lead in the standings, Verstappen dominated both motos after an intense battle, once again proving her class. Riding for the New Bike Yamaha Team, she delivered an exceptional season, giving little chance to her rivals throughout the year.

 

April Franzoni and Jessie Joineau complete the Overall Podium

April Franzoni (2-2), riding for the Honda SR team, gave everything she had this season, even winning a round. She was often just seconds away from Verstappen but ultimately finishes runner-up in the championship—an impressive and promising season for the young French talent.

Jessie Joineau (3-3) achieved her season goal: finishing on the MXF national podium in her final year of top-level racing. A strong performance in Landehen secured her third place overall and a fitting end to a remarkable career with the New Bike Yamaha Team.

 

Young talents shine in Final Round

Lea Chaput (4-5), the 2024 French 125cc Champion, impressed in her first full season aboard a 250cc. The Kawasaki rider finished fourth in the standings, showing consistency and great starts. She will surely aim for the podium next year.

Lisa Guerber (6-4) wrapped up her season with a Top 5 finish in the final round and fifth overall in the championship. After a tough opening round, she steadily climbed the ranks, showing resilience and form following an injury-plagued 2024 season.

Lena Marques (5-9) took sixth overall on the day and also finishes sixth in the championship, despite a crash at the start of race two. A strong recovery ride despite a damaged bike proved her determination.

 

125 - Camille Schudy wins the Final Round

Camille Schudy (7-8) won the final round in the 125cc class, securing the vice-champion title. She showed speed all weekend, finishing seventh overall in the combined standings.

Britt Van Muylem (11-7) crashed at the start of race one but recovered brilliantly to reach the edge of the Top 10. A better start in moto two helped her secure eighth overall and seventh place in the championship. A strong finish for the JPR team rider.

Justine Blanchard (8-12) made her comeback following a clavicle injury, finishing ninth on the day—an encouraging return to form.

Siria Peirolo (10-11) completed the Top 10 of the day, scoring valuable points that secured her tenth in the championship.

 

Louna Masset claims first French 125cc MXF Title

With only a few points needed, Louna Masset (12-10) rode consistently to secure the 2024 French Women’s 125cc Championship title. The Team CRT rider delivered two smart races and claimed her first national crown—a season full of promise for the future.

Lea Lesoil (9-13) completes the 125cc championship podium.

 

The French Women’s Motocross Championship (MXF) has solidified its position as one of the most competitive and well-organized women’s series in Europe. With full gates and rising talent across classes, the 2025 season set a new standard for women’s motocross.
