Nellie Fransson extends with JK Racing Yamaha

Swedish motocross rider Nellie Fransson will continue her journey with JK Racing Yamaha for the 2026 Women’s Motocross World Championship (WMX). The Italian team, known for its long-term support of female racers, is once again placing its trust in the young and talented Swede.

After completing her first full WMX season in 2025, Fransson showed steady progress despite battling injuries that affected several rounds. She finished 17th overall in the championship but closed the season on a positive note — scoring MX2 class points at the Grand Prix of China and achieving her best WMX result in Australia, where she finished 12th.

The renewal confirms JK Racing Yamaha’s continued commitment to developing women’s motocross talent and helping riders build experience at the world level.

Nellie Fransson : “I’m really happy to stay with JK. There’s such a family feeling in the team, and I’m really looking forward to improving together. 2025 was a learning year, and now I’m so ready to take on the 2026 season!

With renewed confidence and a full season of experience behind her, Fransson aims to make the next step in 2026 — fighting regularly for places close to the top 10 in the WMX World Championship and continuing to grow within the Yamaha structure.
