Lachlan Turner claims another double win

The fourth round of the WMX Motocross Championship 2025 brought the best female motocross riders to Ironman for another action-packed weekend. Fans witnessed intense battles on the track, but once again it was Lachlan Turner who proved unstoppable.

As expected, Lachlan Turner delivered another dominant performance with a perfect 1-1 score. On Friday, the Altus Motorsports Blu Cru Yamaha Amateur Team rider wasted no time taking the lead and building a comfortable gap over her rivals. On Saturday, after a race restart, she needed only a few laps to overtake the front runners and secure another double victory. This result moves her one step closer to capturing her second WMX title.

Charli Cannon gave her all throughout the weekend but had to settle for another second place finish. The Australian Honda rider showed determination in both races, even leading part of the second moto before Turner’s pace proved too strong. Still, her consistent 2-2 result keeps her firmly in the championship fight. Kyleigh Stallings achieved a major milestone by taking her first podium of the 2025 season. The Kawasaki Team Green rider started strong but struggled to keep up with the leaders in the first race. In the second, she capitalized on a mistake from Mikayla Nielsen to cross the line third, securing her place on the day’s overall podium.

Jordan Jarvis finished fourth overall after a tough start in the first race that left her out of contact with the lead group. She improved in the second moto, showing better pace after the restart. Mikayla Nielsen had a difficult round despite a strong start to the weekend. Running second in the first race, she made a mistake that cost her positions, then suffered a crash after a jump in the second. Jamie Astudillo enjoyed a solid debut with the DBD WMR KTM Racing Team, delivering two consistent races and claiming sixth place.

Mila Baltyk impressed in her first appearance of the 2025 season, taking seventh overall despite a small mistake in the first race. Lilly-Ann Pettus continued her consistent championship run with eighth place, once again proving her reliability on the Husqvarna. Nanami Honda made her WMX US debut and fought hard battles with both Pettus and Shelby Rolen, eventually finishing ninth. Rolen rounded out the top ten in her first appearance of the season.

With Lachlan Turner extending her lead and rivals like Cannon and Nielsen pushing to close the gap, the WMX Motocross Championship 2025 promises more exciting showdowns as the season continues next weekend with we hope to complete races.
