Swiss rider Virginie Germond has officially ended her 2025 motocross season following a crash during Round 5 of the French Women’s Motocross Championship (MXF) this past Sunday. Competing for the Dragon Moto team, Germond did not remount after the fall and has since confirmed she will step away from racing to allow a shoulder injury to fully recover.
Before the setback, Virginie had been enjoying a strong season, battling for third place in the MXF standings. Her form was particularly solid, with highlights including a good race at the MXGP of Spain earlier this year.
Unfortunately, after experiencing another issue with her shoulder — already weakened from previous injuries — Germond made the wise decision to take a break for the remainder of the season in order to prioritize long-term recovery and health.
We wish Virginie a smooth and full recovery, and we hope to see her back on the bike in top form soon.
Get well soon, Virginie!
