The 2026 Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup will mark the return to international competition of Courtney Duncan, as the four-time former women’s motocross world champion leads New Zealand’s challenge in Australia. Recently recovered from illness, the Otago rider is back to racing and fully committed for the upcoming event.
Motorcycling New Zealand has selected a strong squad for the championship, which will take place on March 21–22 in Wonthaggi, south of Melbourne. The event will feature four-rider teams from Asia, the United States, Australia and New Zealand, all expected to field their top athletes.
Duncan, will race alongside Karaitiana Horne, Mikayla Griffiths and Amie Roberts who will be the captain of the team. Milla Dahlenburg has been named as the non-travelling reserve, providing additional depth to the team.
Experienced racer Letitia Alabaster will serve as assistant team manager, supporting team manager Ray Broad, MNZ’s representative on the FIM Oceania Motocross Commission. Duncan’s return is seen as a major boost for the New Zealand squad as it prepares to face strong international opposition.
The women’s competition at Wonthaggi will include three races, with two run alongside the Australian Women’s Motocross Championship round and a third standalone Oceania Nations Cup.
