After announcing several weeks ago the end of her collaboration with the Spanish National Team, many were waiting to discover Jana Sanchez’s plans for the 2026 season. It is now official: the reigning Spanish Women’s Motocross Champion is returning to Ausio Racing.
Jana Sanchez will be back on Yamaha machinery, with a clear objective in mind — defending her Spanish championship title and fighting for a second crown. Her return to a familiar team marks a strategic move as she focuses on consistency and performance at the national level.
In addition to her women’s racing program, Sanchez is also set to take part in selected MX2 races, gaining valuable experience against strong competition. After finishing 21st in the most recent WMX World Championship, Jana Sanchez is not expected to contest the full WMX series in 2026. However, a potential appearance in one or two WMX rounds has not been completely ruled out, leaving the door open for a possible international return as was the case before joining the national team.
