FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup – Preview & Entry List

This weekend sees the third edition of the FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup in Wonthaggi, Australia.

Three teams will be competing following the withdrawal of the FIM Asia team. Australia, winner of the first two editions, will be led by Charli Cannon. Alongside her will be talented young riders eager to showcase their skills: Taylah McCutcheon, Taylor Thompson, and Darci Whalley.

The United States team, runners-up last year, will be aiming to take victory this season. Two-time US champion Lachlan Turner will captain the team. She will be joined by experienced riders Jordan Jarvis and Jamie Astudillo, while Mayla Herrick makes her first appearance. A talented rider, she could be one to watch this weekend.

Present since the inaugural edition, New Zealand is expected to play a supporting role following the withdrawal of four-time WMX world champion Courtney Duncan. Amie Roberts will lead the team, bringing valuable experience. Karaitiana Horne continues to prove her potential, while Mikayla Griffiths is establishing herself among the country’s top riders. Milla Dahlenburg, moving from reserve to full-time rider, will be looking to make an impact.
Australia has dominated the competition so far, but this edition could be more competitive than ever.

Can the United States challenge for the win? Can Australia continue its dominance on home soil? And how will New Zealand respond despite key absences?
