Shana van der Vlist grabbed the holeshot in the opening WMX race in Arnhem, with Lotte van Drunen, Nellie Fransson, Kiara Fontanesi and Danée Gelissen all featuring inside the Top 5.
Daniela Guillen found herself outside the Top 10 through the first corner but immediately began a strong comeback.
At the front, van der Vlist made a mistake, allowing Lotte van Drunen to make a decisive pass for the lead. Fontanesi then crashed and dropped several positions.
Van Drunen quickly began to pull away from van der Vlist and Courtney Duncan, while Guillen continued her charge through the field. The Spaniard moved into the Top 5 as Gelissen went down.
Out front, van Drunen was in complete control and pulled clear to secure a dominant victory.
Behind her, Guillen continued her impressive comeback. She passed Duncan and then van der Vlist in the closing stages to claim second place. The result proved crucial in the championship battle, as Guillen retakes the lead in the WMX standings.
Van der Vlist completed the podium in third after an excellent race. Fontanesi capitalised on a late mistake from Duncan to finish fourth, with the Italian moving ahead of the New Zealander at the finish. After a heavy crash during qualifying, Fontanesi was not at 100% this weekend but managed to limit the damage in the championship fight.
Lucy Barker once again delivered a strong performance, securing sixth place. After an average start, she battled with Amandine Verstappen early in the race, while Malou Jakobsen produced an impressive comeback to move ahead of the Belgian and finish seventh.
After her strong start, Fransson gradually slipped back through the field but still secured a solid ninth-place finish. The young Swedish rider continues to make progress in the WMX class.
Racing at home, Jenitty van der Beek completed the Top 10 for her first WMX Top 10.
