Mini O’s Supercross: Herrick claims victory in Girls class

The opening round of the Mini O’s Supercross delivered an intense showdown on Monday morning as the Girls 11–16 category—featuring rising stars of the future WMX US Championship—lined up for their first race of the week.

Husqvarna rider Zoe Moore launched off the gate with the holeshot, but her early advantage didn’t last long. Raycin Kyler quickly overtook her to take command of the race, followed closely by Hannah Jamison, Mayla Herrick, Madison Kazimir, and Tinley McCoy.

Kyler held the lead for the first two laps before Jamison made a decisive pass at the start of lap three. Only a few corners later, Mayla Herrick also moved ahead, positioning herself as a clear threat for the win.

Just as the race seemed to settle into its final order, drama struck: Jamison crashed in the last corners and slid off the track. The mistake cost the GasGas rider valuable seconds, allowing Mayla Herrick to seize the opportunity and take a confident victory in the Girls Supercross opener.

This early battle sets the stage for an exciting fight for the overall Mini O’s Supercross title throughout the week.

Raycin Kyler’s speed confirmed her as a serious podium contender, while early leader Zoe Moore couldn’t quite match the pace of the leading trio but held firm at the front of a competitive chasing group. Behind her, Tinley McCoy (5th), Madison Kazimir (6th), Jasey Rae Jones (7th), and Kelsey Harris (8th) all showed similar race pace and remain strong candidates for podium finishes in the upcoming motos.

Brinley Shepheard and Sophia Williams rounded out the top 10, proving the depth of talent in this year’s Girls 11–16 field.
